MENDHAR, Nov 6: About 50 households of village Kasoite in Gursai area are without water for last about five months.
According to the reports, 50 households of village Kasoite are facing acute water shortage for last about 5 months, as these households are situated on some height in comparison to other households of the village due to which the water could not reach out to their houses.
The residents alleged that they gave many representations to the concerned officers as well as political leaders but no positive action was taken to mitigate their sufferings.
They accused the PHE authorities of negligence and carelessness and appealed DC Poonch, MH Malik to intervene into the matter so that they can also get proper water supply.
