JAMMU, Oct 7: The ESU team of SP Rural Office Jammu today claimed to have recovered 50 missing mobile phones worth around Rs 7.5 lakh to 8 lakh.
A police official said that several missing reports of the mobile phones were lodged at different police posts and police stations.

As these reports reached the ESU unit through the concerned SHOs/Incharge Police Posts, the ESU unit of the SP Rural office Jammu was assigned the task of tracing out the missing mobile phones.
The unit put in sincere efforts and accordingly traced out the entire missing phones from different districts of the UT of J&K with the help of concerned SDPOs, SHOs, and Incharge Police Posts, he said.
The cost of the recovered missing mobile phones is approximately Rs 7.5 lakh to 8 lakh and with the recovery of these phones, several missing reports have been closed, he said.
The people who got back their missing mobile phones appreciated the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their sincere efforts in tracing their phones.
