RAJOURI, Feb 14: The police arrested a local drug peddler from Rajouri area and recovered a big consignment from his possession.
Reports said a team of police led by SHO Rajouri Inspector Aejaz Ahmed Wani under the supervision of DySP Headquarter Rajouri Ashwani Kumar on a specific information, laid a naka at Salani bridge. During checking and frisking one pedestrian was put to thorough checking. On his personal search 23 challies of charas weighing 500 grams were recovered from his possession.
He was identified as Saddam Hussain Shah, son of Muzaffer Hussain Shah , resident of Phalnee, in Tehsil Budhal. A case FIR No 57/2024 was registered against him.
