Jitendra Singh says Indian response to Pak firing will be ‘’unprecedented’’

Jammu : MoS PMO Jitendra Singh said Indian response to the Pak firing will be ’ unprecedented’’ as had not been seen in the past.  He said handful of peole are trying to mislead the Kashimiri youth but they are much more aware now.

Jitendra Singh said as he has been made clear earlier by the defence minister and the government spokesperson that that what ever action is need would be made in a profession manner and there would not be any leniency.

 “ I am sure the ministry of defence and the concerned agencies are taking a due cognizance of it  and what ever is required and appropriate would be done. But, what is also reassuring is that the people living along the borders themselves also bear testimony to the fact that kind of retaliatory action this time around was not seen for years together in the past,” Singh told reporters in Jammu on Indian response to the Pak firing.

Two people including 14-yr-old child had died in Pak firing in Nowshera sector, Rajouri, on Saturday in Pak firing.  The district administration has shifted about 800 peeople to safer places and schools along the borders have been closed .

The minister said the  common Kashmiri youth want to be part of the developmental journey started by the Modi government. He said only a handful of people are trying to mislead the Kashmiri youth but the youth of the Kashmir is now much aware.

“The common Kashmiri  youth want to benefit from the developmental journey started by Modi government . It is reflected by the fact that for just 700 posts of sub-inspector in the state police  66 , 000 youth had applied,” said Jitendra Singh.
