KISHTWAR, Apr 9: 52 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Kishtwar celebrated Valour Day today to commemorate the battle of Sardar Post on Gujarat border which had taken place during 1965 and had witnessed to companies of CRPF repulsing a Brigade level attack by Pakistan and gunning down 34 of its soldiers.
The 52 Battalion of CRPF located at Kishtwar celebrated Valour Day at PDC Colony, Bhoop Nagar Kishtwar in presence of PK Choudary, Commandant 52 Bn and other senior officers .
On this association, PK Choudhary Commandant 52 Bn, rembered martyrs of Sardar Post at Run of Kutch Gujarat. He also remembered others martyrs and told about the officers and jawans who have got Gallantry awards during duty. He also accorded best wishes to all officers and jawans and their families on this day.
