SRINAGAR, July 28: As many as 52 fresh guests from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here while only five Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives, separated in 1947 due to partition.
Thirty-four PoK residents, who had arrived here in previous Karvan-e-Aman buses, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PoK, also returned to their homes after completing stay in Kashmir, official sources said, adding that they included 11 women and 10 children.
They said 52 PoK residents, including 13 women and nine children, arrived at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge on foot.
Sources said five Kashmiris, including two women, crossed over to other side of LoC to meet their separated relatives.
