SRINAGAR, June 20: State Government today revealed that as on date non-State subjects have established 545 industrial units in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a written reply to a question of Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Ajatshatru Singh, the Minister incharge Industries and Commerce Department said out of these 545 industrial units, 47 are in Kashmir Division and rest 498 in Jammu Division.
The Minister said there are 32, 387 industrial units across the State and out of which 12380 are in Jammu while 20007 in Kashmir. He said the State-subjects in Jammu Division have established 11882 industrial units and in Kashmir the State-subjects have established 19960 such units.
