55th Shat Chandi Mahayagya concludes at Baba Sidhgoria Dham

JAMMU, Sept 15: The 55th Shat Chandi Mahayagya and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha concluded with an overwhelming response of the devotees at Baba Sidhgoria Dham, Paloura here today.
As per a statement, the 11-day spiritual extravaganza drew a massive crowd of devotees and Sadhus who gathered for the Puranahuti ceremony, which was filled with chanting of the spiritual hymns.
The festivities began on September 5 and featured daily discourses on the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha starting September 9.
These sermons, delivered by Mahant Dr Satyanarayan Das, captivated attendees with profound spiritual insights.
Today’s conclusion included a grand Prabhat Phiri, a procession that took place from 8 Am to 12 Pm, travelling through Mandir, Top Paloura, Patoli, Jaggi Darbar, Janipur, and Muthi Camp, before returning to the Dham.
The day’s events also featured the Puranahuti and a Bhandara at 2 pm.
Mahant Kuldeep Singh expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming participation, highlighting it as a testament to the enduring faith of the devotees.
The event also saw the presence of notable figures including Mahant Rameshwar Dass, Mahant Dutt Giri, and various political, social, and religious dignitaries, alongside senior journalists King C Bharati and Raman Raina.
The successful execution of the event was credited to the dedicated efforts of the Managing Committee, including Ashok Chib, Satish Sharma, Atul Sood and others.
