DODA, Sept 16: The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) conducted a thorough two-day checking operation in Gandoh Bhalessa and adjacent link roads. The dedicated team, led by C M Sharma, Robin Parihar, Motor Vehicle Inspectors, and Neetan Singh, Assistant MVI, worked in close collaboration with other official of MVD department, Traffic Police, and the Jammu and Kashmir police.
The PRIs members also participated in this drive and made strong appeal to the public and mostly to the drivers community to follow the traffic rules and regulations to avoid any mishappenig during the driving activities
During the comprehensive vehicle checking drive, a total of 120 vehicles were inspected. The operation resulted in the issuance of challans to 57 vehicles and 8 vehicles were seized for various violations of the Motor Vehicles Act and associated rules.The main focus of checking was on overloading & overcharging .
This proactive checking operation was aimed to enhance road safety and promote compliance with traffic regulations.
The joint Naka was also conducted in Gandoh area by Traffic Police & local police under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh.
The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta.
