JAMMU, Dec 3: The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the regularization and promotion of 59 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) as Superintendents of Police (SPs).
Eleven inspectors of the Stenography cadre have also been regularized/promoted to their next rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).
As per an order, the DySPs who have been regularized/promoted are Prithpal Singh, Arun Kumar, Noor Ul Hassan, Sunil Kumar Kesar, Pranav Mahajan, Ashok Sharma, Prithpal Singh, Zaheer Abbas, Shafat Mohammad Najar, Fayaz Hussain Shah, Zafar Iqbal Nawaz, Bashir Ahmad, Mir Murtaza Hussain Sohil, Iftkhar Ahmed, Syed Javeed Ahmad, Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, Nissar Ahmad, Mohammad Irfan Khan, Aumer Iqbal, and Syed Sajad Hussain.
Mumtaz Ali, Regzin Sandup, Shivali Kotwal, Arvnider Singh Kotwal, Altaf Ahmad Naik, Wajahat Hussain, Mohammad Muzaffar Jan, Ishtyaq Ahmad Kacho, Mohammad Shafiq, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Rashid Younis, Rajinder Singh, Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari, Mohammad Aslam, Ravinder Singh, Chhabil Singh, Mohan Lal, Mohammad Aftab Awan, are among the other officers who have been regularized or promoted as SPs.

Additionally, officers Farooq Ahmad Wani, Mohammad Usman, Nawaz Ahmad, Govind Rattan, Bikram Kumar, Garu Ram, Nihar Ranjan, Fahim Ali, Rameez Rashid, Abid Rashid Mir, Mohammad Saleem Bhat, Shivender Singh Jamwal, Rameez Raja, Nikhil Rasgotra, Amit Kumar Sharma, Mubashir Rasool, Ravinder Singh, Sunny Gupta, Tariq Mahmood, and Devinder Singh Bandral, have also been regularised or promoted as SPs.
Those Inspectors of the Stenography cadre who have been regularized or promoted to the rank of DySPs are Mohammad Amin Wani, Ghulam Hyder Malik, Sunil Kumar, Puran Kumar, Showket Ahmad Dar, Vimla Raina, Sheikh Arif Ahmad, Mushtaq Mohammad, Javid Ahmad Sofi, Altaf Khaliq Wani and Mahesh Gupta.
