SRINAGAR, Aug 3: As many as 59 guests from Pakistan occupied-Kashmir (PoK) arrived here while only three Kashmiris crossed over to the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector in north Kashmir district of Baramulla today.
32 returnees crossed side at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC, official sources said. They said 59 PoK residents, including 25 women and 11 children, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge on foot. Only one Kashmiri, who had gone to PoK returned here after meeting his relatives separated in 1947 due to partition.
Sources said only three Kashmiris, including a woman, crossed over to PoK to meet their separated relatives. They said 29 PoK residents, who had arrived here in previous buses, returned to their homes after completing stay here.
