SRINAGAR, Mar 17: In its continued effort to strengthen and maintain a close relation with the public, Army organized a mobile medical patrol at Kresibal near Dagarpora today.
An Army spokesman said the area is generally deprived of medical facilities for civilians due to their geographical remote location and the aim of this patrol was to provide much needed relief to the needy through free medicines and medical advice to the locals.
“A total 110 people including children were treated who were provided with free medical assistance. The demand for such activity had been coming from the locals of the nearby villages for quite some time and this free medical patrol was welcomed by the locals as it provided much-needed relief,” he said.
