KATHUA, Jan 11: Six Bharatis were injured, two of them seriously injured when a car in which they were returning after attending the marriage at Bani in Kathua district met an accident at Jandrota near Basholi this evening.
According to police, the people were part of a Bharat which had gone from Mandli, Billawar to Bani yesterday. Today when they were returning to Billawar in the Eco car bearing registration number JK08 F 2543 the car rolled down at Jandrota near Basholi and all the six persons travelling in it including the driver were injured.
Out of them the two Bharatis were serious and they were referred from District Hospital Basholi to Government Medical College & Hospital Jammu for treatment. The duo was identified as Nasir and Akhtar of Mandli Billawar.
The other four are under going treatment at SDH Basholi. The Basholi Police has registered a case under section 279/337 RPC and started investigation.
