UDHAMPUR, Nov 16: Police today rescued six bovine animals, while, the smuggler managed to fled from the spot.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Udhampur Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK06-1532 at Jakhani Chowk.
During checking, police recovered six bovine animals, while, the smuggler managed to fled from the spot.
A case under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Udhampur Police Station and manhunt was launched to arrest the bovine smuggler, who fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle.
