6 bovines rescued, 4 held

JAMMU, Nov 22: Police rescued 6 bovine animals and arrested four persons from Gharatal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Akhnoor police station.
As per police sources, during patrolling in Gharatal area, police team from Akhnoor police station intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BD-3591.
During checking, police rescued 6 bovine animals and arrested four persons, who have been identified as Mohammad Muneer, son of Mohammad Hussain of Miran Sahib, Mohammad Akram, son of Liyaqat Hussain of Khanpur, Talab Tillo, Showkat Ali, son of Mohammad Makhan of Darsupur, Miran Sahib and Nazir Ahmed, son of Mohammad Munshi of Kheri, Talab Tillo.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Akhnoor police station and investigations started.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor police station Inspector Pushpinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh, SP Rural Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
