UDHAMPUR, Sept 23: A team of Police Station Chenani foiled a bovine smuggling attempt and rescued 6 bovines.
These bovines were being smuggled in a vehicle bearing registration number JK14J- 1746 which was intercepted at Anthal Chowk naka point.
The driver of the vehicle, namely Abdul Rashid, son of Ibrahim of Sangote was arrested on the spot. All the bovines were rescued and vehicle was seized.
In this regard, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Chenani.
