New Delhi : At least 14 persons, including six children, were killed in a road accident after the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into a truck on the Prayagraj-Lucknow highway late Thursday night.
The accident took place on the Prayagraj-Lucknow highway that falls under the jurisdiction of Manikpur police station. All 14 occupants of the Bolera car were reportedly part of a marriage party and were returning from Sheikhpur village in Nababganj.
Following the information of the accident, police reached the spot and used a gas cutter to separate the mangled remains of the car from the truck. As per reports, it took almost two hours for the police to take out bodies
