JAMMU, June 8: Six days orientation training programme for teaching of Urdu started today by language wing at SIE, Jammu under the guidance of H R Pakhroo, Joint Director (Trgs) SIE, Jammu.
The programme was inaugurated by S K Raina, senior field Advisor, SIE, Jammu who broadly highlighted the role of teaching in building character and inculcating values in education. He also explained the constructivism approach in teaching which lays stress on conductive class room environment.
Earlier welcome address was presented by Shadi Lal Tengloo, Field Advisor, SIE, Jammu who escorted the teachers to adopt the guidelines of NCF 2005 in letter and spirit.
The proceeding of the programme was conducted by Hamida Khatoon.
Among others who were present are Kulwant Kour, K K Badyal and Parvaiz Bhat.
