407 fresh cases in Valley

SRINAGAR, Sept 30: Six persons died in Kashmir today due to Coronavirus taking the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir to 1183 while the Valley reported 407 fresh cases taking the overall J&K tally to 75070.
The six persons who died in Kashmir due to COVID-19 include a 60-year-old man from Gulbagh area of Srinagar who died six days after admission to SKIMS Soura, a 57-year-old man from Hajin area of Bandipora district, a 64-year-old woman from Ahmed Nagar area of Srinagar city and a 65-year-old from Rainawari area of old city Srinagar.
These persons were suffering from COVID-19 pneumonia besides other ailments.
With these deaths, the death toll of COVID-19 positive patients has gone to 1183 in Jammu and Kashmir so far including 841 from the Valley.
Srinagar district with 292 deaths topped the list followed by Baramulla 124, Budgam 82, Pulwama 69, Kupwara 67, Anantnag 65, Kulgam 43, Bandipora 37, Shopian 32 and Ganderbal 28.
Kashmir today reported 407 fresh cases of Coronavirus taking the overall J&K tally to 75070.
Srinagar reported 173, Budgam 48, Baramulla 53, Pulwama 33, Anantnag 16, Bandipora 15, Kupwara 38, Ganderbal 23, Kulgam 6 and Shopian 2 cases.
As official said that 14,882 positive cases including 292 deaths and 12,285 recoveries are from Srinagar, 4,871 including 82 deaths and 3,867 recoveries are from Budgam, 4,388 including 2,948 recoveries and 124 deaths are from Baramulla, 3,942 including 3,447 recoveries and 68 deaths are from Pulwama, 3,519 including 65 deaths and 3,021 recoveries are from Anantnag, 3,400 including 2,870 recoveries and 37 deaths are from Bandipora, 3,613 cases including 2,811 and 67 deaths are from Kupwara, 2,891 including 2,497 recoveries and 29 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,266 including 2,112 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,027 including 1,818 recoveries and 32 deaths are from Shopian.
With today’s fresh cases, the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division has reached 45,799 including 37,885 recoveries and 839 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 17,017 including 7,075 from Kashmir.
With 1,355 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 56,872 which is 75.76 percent of the total cases.
Moreover, 565 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals from Kashmir valley today.
