JAMMU, July 13: The State Government has terminated the services of six doctors for their unauthorized absent from duty in Kashmir division.
They include Dr Mohd Lateed Charoo, Dr Mohd Habib Kanth, Dr Dil Rafiqa, Dr Iram Sehar, Dr Nazir Ahmad Mir and Dr Mohd Farooq Fazli.
These doctors were reported absent from duty without any permission and the Director Health Services Kashmir had issued a formal notice asking them to report back to the Directorate. Even as they reported to the Directorate after issuance of final notice, it was found during examining of their individual cases that they had not provided any cogent reason for their unauthorized absence.
Therefore, in pursuance to Article 128 of CSR Volt-I, J&K Civil Services rules, 1956, the services of these doctors were terminated with immediate effect.
