SAMBA, Feb2: District police Samba seized six dumpers at naka NHW near AIIMS site, Rakh Barotian in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Vijaypur, which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
Police said a team of PS Vijaypur while performing routine vehicle checking duty at naka NHW near AIIMS site, Rakh Barotian, Vijaypur intercepted six dumpers vehicles having Registration numbers JK02CJ-7986, JKO2CR-1255, JK21F-2086, JK08F-6834, JK02CH-0138, JK21E-0881.
The vehicles were found loaded with sand and illegally transporting the same. All the six vehicles intercepted by Samba police were seized on spot and cases entrusted to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
