SRINAGAR, June 7: The State Cabinet, which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, accorded sanction to the promotion of one IAS and five IPS officers.
K B Aggarwal, IAS (JK: 1985) has been promoted to the Fixed Scale of IAS (Rs.80, 000/-) (pre-revised), notionally from 01.11.2015, and regularly with effect from 07.03.2017.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the promotion of five IPS Officers of J&K Cadre of 1999 Batch, to the Super Time Scale-II (IGP), Level 14 in the Pay Matrix) with effect from June 5, 2016. These officers include S Anand Jain and S R Samuel (on proforma basis), Nitish Kumar, Ashkoor Ahmed Wani and Nisar Ahmed.
Meanwhile, according to the separate orders, issued today by the State Government, Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Ladakh Affairs Department while Navin Kumar Choudhary, Commissioner Secretary Finance Department, shall hold the charge of the post of Secretart, Labour and employment Department, in addition to his own duties till Shaleen Kabra resumes his duties after completion of mid-career training programme.
Further, as per another order by GAD, Shoaib Noor, Junir Scale KAS officer of 2011 batch, presently posted as CDPO B K Pora, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell.
