SAMBA, Sept 15: Six persons were injured when the load carrier they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Thandi Khui area, a police official said.
The injured have been identified as Asha Rani, wife of Darshan Kumar of Ward Number 11 Vijaypur, Anul Kumari, wife of Naresh Kumar of Ward Number Vijaypur, Parsino Devi, wife of Dev Raj of Channi Manhasan, Garo Devi, wife of Ashok Kumar of Swankha Morh, Asha Rani, wife of Partap Chand of Shiv Nagar Vijaypur and Kamlesh Kumari, wife of Des Raj of Kothi Vijaypur.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to EH Vijaypur, from where three injured women were referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
Police has taken the cognizance in this regards.
