DODA, Sept 1: Six persons were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge on Assar-Thandapani link road.
As per police sources, a Maruti Eeco van bearing registration number JK06A-9232 rolled down into gorge on Assar-Thandapani link road, resulting into injuries to six persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Assar from where one of the injured was referred to GMC Doda for specialised treatment.
The injured were identified as Jia Lal, son of Shibu of Patta Charota, Chaman Lal of Bagla Barath, Om Raj, son of Sham Singh of Kharyas Charota, Rajneesh, son of Subash of Charota, Parveet Singh of Patnitop and Romesh Kumar, son of Devi Chand of Marri Charota.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Assar and investigation started.
