6 injured in group clash

SAMBA, Oct 29: At least six persons were injured in a group clash at a village in Vijaypur area of district Samba today.
A police spokesman said that clash took place between the families of both the brothers, Krishan Lal and Ram Pal, over an old land dispute at village Jhang. They are also facing litigation in the said case.
During the day, both the brothers had some altercation over the dispute and it was followed by a bloody clash. The other members of the families also joined them. Both the sides exchanged `lathis’ and also pelted stones on each other. Six persons including both the brothers were injured and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu from Vijaypur.
The injured were identified as Krishan Lal, Ram Pal, Neeraj and Dheeraj, sons of Krishan Lal, Ram Pal’s wife and son, Som Dutt. The police registered a case in this connection.
