JAMMU, Nov 28: Six persons were injured in road accidents in different areas of Jammu District.
As per police sources, three persons identified as Abhimeet Sharma alias Chittu, son of Sham Lal of Sohal, Gagandeep Singh, son of Surajmukhi Pal Singh of Tanda and Lakhwinder Singh, son of Surinder Singh of Tanda were injured in collision between motorcycle (JK0AV-4598) and car (JK02CA-8158) near Khuga area of Akhnoor.
Trio were shifted to SDH Akhnoor from where Lakhwinder and Gagandeep were later referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
In another case, a man identified as Darshan Kumar, son of Beli Ram of Chakroi RS Pura was injured when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car near Salama Chak area on RS Pura-Salaid road.
He has been referred to GMCH Jammu in critical condition from SDH RS Pura.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a person identified as Pankaj Sharma, son of JN Sharma, a resident of Garden Avenue Canal Road District Jammu was injured in scooty and auto load carrier collision at Pata Chungi area. He is undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu.
Concerned police station has taken cognizance in this regard.
In another case, a pedestrian identified as Krishan Lal, son of Daya Ram of Mubarak Mandi was injured after being hit by unknown vehicle near Muthi area.
He has been shifted to GMCH Jammu, where he was undergoing treatment when last reports came in.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
