AKHNOOR, Sept 21: Six members of a family suffered injuries some of them serious when their vehicle turned turtle at Jourian, about 20 kilometres from here, this afternoon.
According to police sources, all the six members of the family were going to mourn on the demise of one of their relative boarding in a Load Carrier when it turned turtle at Jourian, resulting into injuries to all the family members.
They were immediately shifted to nearby Government Hospital from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The victims have been identified as Ambo Devi (75), wife of Sato, Sudesh Kumari (40) wife of Nathu Ram, Geeta Devi (40) wife of Sant Ram, Rampal (32) son of Sant Raj, Asha Devi (24) wife of Rampal and Roshan lal (16) son of Sant Ram, all residents of Mishriwala.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
