6 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Dec 9: Six persons were injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, three persons namely Dilip Singh (80) son of Sant Singh, Surinder Kour (45) wife of Tirlok Singh and Balbir Singh (45) son of Bashaka Singh, all residents of Poonch received serious injuries when the Santro car they were travelling in rolled down near Nowshera, late last night.
A fifty years old person namely Ranjit Singh (50) son of Bhagwan Singh, a resident of Sunderbani got injured when the Wagon car he was travelling in towards Jammu turned turtle near Jagti in Nagrota, this morning.
In another incident, a woman namely Anju Rani (35) wife of Darshan Lal, a resident of Shalochak (Mishriwala) received minor injuries when the bike she was travelling on with her husband got slipped at Marh.
In a hit and run case, an unknown vehicle hit an unknown male pedestrian aged about 30 years, here at Gandhi Nagar and left him injured.
In all the cases, the injured persons have been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment, where their condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. The concerned police have also taken cognizance of the matter in all the cases.
