JAMMU, Jan 15: Six persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Shamsher Singh (35) son of Bajo Ram, a resident of Paloura was received injuries when the bike he was riding on, was hit by a mini bus near Dogra Hall, here this evening.
Two bike riders identified as Narayan Dass (34) son of Bodh Raj, a resident of Kheri Kote in Bishnah and Dr Vinod (38), son of Brij Lal, a resident of Miran Sahib, were injured when their respective bikes were hit by unidentified cars at Gandhi Nagar and Miran Sahib, respectively.
A person was also injured when an unknown vehicle hit his bike at Miran Sahib. The injured has been identified as Jaswinder Singh (30) son of Baldev Singh, a resident of Dablaid in RS Pura.
Two occupants of a Tata Mobile were also injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling in, collided with a truck at Lower Belicharana area. The injured have been identified as Mohd Sharif (20) son of Noor Ali, a resident of Talas (Ramban) and Mohd Latif (20) son of Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Simbal Morh.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
