6 Jammu artists participating in Intl Art Exhibition at Kullu

JAMMU, Oct 22: Six Jammu based artists viz. Jang S. Verman, Khushbu Sharma, Mehak Sharma, Shivali Jamwal, Anila Singh Charak and Kaneesh Panotra are participating in the International Art Exhibition of paintings and sculptures have showcased their art in an International event being organized by International Reorich Memorial Trust (IRMT), Naggar, Kullu Valley, Himachal Art Heritage, Sunder Nagar, HP, ArtFort India, Chandigarh and Verman Cultural Celebrations, Jammu at the Modern Art Exhibition Art Gallery and open air premises of IMRT.
The event is a part of the 25th Anniversary of the International Reorich Memorial Trust, Naggar, Kullu (HP) which has been celebrated on 22nd October, 2017. Two events viz. International Art Exhibition and Workshop would be conducted simultaneously.
The festival was inaugurated with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the artists Ramesh Chander, Indian Curator, IRMT, Naggar welcomed the guests and highlighted the vision and mission of IRMT and the contribution of artists towards society. Alexandar, Special Officer of the Trust read out the message of Larisa V Surgina, Russian Curator in her absence due to her illness. S Jang S Verman, senior artist from Jammu on behalf of the artists participating in the art exhibition, also expressed his views on this occasion. A cultural programme on the classical presentations and folk dances was also presented on this occasion.
Jang S Verman, Khushbu, Mehak Sharma and Shivali Jamwal would also be a part of the workshop being conducted during this event. Other participants of the event are Prabhinder Lall, Manmadh Rao, Aakriti Sexena and Vishal Bhatnagar, Chandigarh, Harpreet Singh , Mohali, Harpreet Kaur, Jalandhar, Reena Bhatnagar and Neeti Joshi, Zirakpur, Sankari Mitra, Kolkatta, Rupinder Kaur, Bhopal, Suhani, Nagpur and Roma Bahl, Lucknow.
The art of Prof (Dr) Clemens Beung Kun Sou, South Korea, Anna Krzeminska, Pawel Nocun and Wojciech Ciesniewski, Poland, Larisa, Zuvkova and Anastasia Mukhina, Russia would be a part of this event.
