Srinagar, July 20: Police today filed charge sheet in the court of law against six associates of Al-Badr militants who were killed in a village in district Budgam early this year.
Budgam police filed charge before the competent court for case (FIR No. 02/2019) registered under relevant sections of law against the six militant associates Tanveer Laway, Shahnawaz Bhat, Imtiyaz Bhat, Gulzar Wani, Imtiyaz Bhat and Azad Wani.
Police said that the case was registered for Dalwan Chahar-e-Sharief encounter which took place on January 21 this year in which 3 militants affiliated with Al-Badr were killed.
“Subsequent investigations in the case revealed the complexity of these 6 terrorist associates. As per the records available with police, they were affiliated with proscribed terror outfit Al-Badr”, Police said.
