6 operators suspended after irregularities in making Aadhar cards detected

Rajouri, Mar 25: On the directions of DC Rajouri, 6 Aadhar card operators appointed for making and updating Aadhar cards in the district, have been suspended and stopped from their work of making or updating Aadhar cards.
On the instructions of DC, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer Rajouri Sandeep Kumar Sharma immediately suspended 6 operators and stopped their work. It is being told that a few days ago some important information was made available to the district administration by UIDAI Project Manager Jammu Kashmir. After that DC Rajouri Abhishek Sharma organized a review meeting regarding Aadhar card and during that meeting it was found that a large number of complaints have been received and it has been told that Aadhar card operators have done forgery with the date of birth of many people while making or updating Aadhar cards. Making a forgery in the date of birth while making or updating the Aadhar card is a big violation of the Aadhar card rules.
Taking strict cognizance of the matter, the Aadhar card operators working in Thannamandi, Government High School Chings, ICDS Darhal, Child Development Project Officer Kalakote, CDPO Kalakote and Tatyath have been suspended. Apart from this, the Social Welfare Department and the District Statistics and Evaluation Department have been ordered to take back the kits issued to these 6 Aadhar operators and close their IDs immediately. Also, the concerned Tehsildars have been instructed to investigate the work of the operators working at these 6 places and submit a report within 2 days.
