JAMMU, Sept 28: The Government today issued orders of promotion/placement and posting of six In-charge Superintending Engineers as I/C Chief Engineers (CEs) in the Jal Shakti Department.
The I/C SEs placed/promoted as I/C Chief Engineers are- Vikas Sharma, Mohd Salim Malik, Gurcharan Singh, Anil Kumar Gupta and Mohammed Hanief.
Consequent upon the placements, the Government posted six Chief Engineers against the available vacancies.
I/C Chief Engineer Sumit Kumar Puri, awaiting orders of posting has been posted in JKPDC for deputation to CVPPPL; Vikas Sharma, after elevation as I/C Chief Engineer has been posted to Civil Investigation Division Kashmir, JKPDC with additional charge of the post of SE Parnai Power Project.
I/C Chief Engineer, Mohd Salim Malik shall continue as SE Hyd Circle Kupwara till further orders of posting. He shall also hold the addl charge of the post of SE Hyd Circle Baramulla; Gurcharan Singh after being placed as I/C CE, shall continue as Technical Advisor in Mission Directorate, JJM till further orders of posting; I/C CE Anil Kumar Gupta shall continue as SE Hyd Circle Doda till further orders of posting while I/C Chief Engineer Mohammed Hanief has been posted as Director, J&K ERA.
