6 year old among two killed, one injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Oct 27: A 6-year-old child was among two killed while another was injured in road mishaps.
As per reports, a 6-year-old child namely Vishal Sharma, son of Rakesh Kumar of Dharamkote, district Kathua, was seriously injured after falling from tractor near his house.
He was shifted to nearby hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a person Satish Kumar, son of Doulat Ram of Dhok Khalsa, was riding motorcycle, when a bus hit him near Dumi area falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachak Police Station.
Profusely bleeding Satish was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body was handed over to legal heirs after completion of legal formalities, while, a case has been registered at Kanachack Police Station and manhunt was on to nab the bus driver who fled from the spot, leaving behind the vehicle.
In another incident, a youth was injured when the scooter he was driving slipped near Tikri area of district Udhampur.
Identified as Vishal Chand, son of Pyara Chand of Tikri, was shifted to PHC Tikri with multiple injuries and was later referred to District Hospital Udhampur, where his condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered and investigation started.
