SRINAGAR, June 27: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) chaired by Additional Director General of Police(ADGP) Armed S M Sahai, which met here at Armed Police Headquarters yesterday, cleared promotions of 60 ASIs to the rank of Sub Inspectors and 75 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors in J&K Armed Police.
While issuing the promotion orders, Mr Sahai said that promotions act as big moral boosters and it has been our endeavour to fill up the available vacancies to extend benefit to different formations of the organization.
The DPC comprised of IGP AP/IR Kashmir Sunil Kumar, AIG(P) PHQ Tahir Sajad Bhat, Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K Javed Iqbal Matoo, CO AP 13th Bn B.A.Khan and CO AP 9th Bn Zubair Ahmad.
