POONCH, July 20: Police today seized 600 litre of diesel from Sagra area of Mendhar.
SHO Mendhar, Tahir Yusaf Khan said that based on specific information, police seized two barrels of diesel from Sagra area of Mendhar while it was being dumped by a man namely Nissar Ahmed son of Akbar Ali, resident of Sagra, at his house.
“The illegal huge consignment of diesel was being smuggled to be sold in the open market,” the officer said, adding that they have registered a case and started investigations.
