62 fresh cases take dengue toll to 5702

JAMMU, Nov 10: With 62 fresh cases reported today, total 5702 people have been tested positive for the viral dengue infection in Jammu and Kashmir so far.
A Health official said that highest 29 cases were reported positive from Jammu District followed by 15 cases reported from Udhampur District, 10 from Doda, 5 from Kathua, and one each case reported from Reasi, Poonch and other States/UTs.
As far as cumulative figures of 2023 are concerned, highest 3644 cases were reported positive from Jammu District followed by 826 cases reported positive from Udhampur District, 496 from Kathua, 346 from Samba, 96 from Rajouri, 64 from Reasi, 62 from Doda, 57 from Ramban, 38 from other States/UTs, 36 from Poonch, 25 from Kashmir, and 8 from Kishtwar District.
Thus far, 42050 tests have been conducted by the Health officials across the UT out of which 5702 people have been tested positive for the viral infection. Total 1803 patients had to be admitted to the hospitals. Out of them, 1645 have been discharged, 61 were taken to hospitals in other States/UTs, 90 are under-treatment and seven have died.
