JAMMU, Apr 28: Sidhra and Bishnah police rescued 63 bovine animals and arrested 6 persons.
As per police sources, a team from Sidhra Police Post led by SI Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday laid a naka and intercepted five trucks.
During checking, police team rescued 61 bovine animals and arrested four persons.
Meanwhile, a team from Bishnah Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle.
Police team rescued two bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Kalu and Rashid, both residents of Belicharana.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Nagrota and Bishnah Police Stations and investigation started.
