JAMMU, Jan 1: To encourage workmanship in cadre, SP Railways Jammu, Suram Singh, today ordered in-situ grade promotion to 64 officials of GRP Jammu.
The officials to whom the in-situ grade promotion has been granted includes 55 constables and 9 Followers, who have completed 9 years of satisfactory service in one rank in the Police Department and were found eligible for promotion.
The said promotions were approved in the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meet, which was chaired by SP Railways Jammu.
SP hoped that the newly promoted officials will work hard to serve the people and the department with same zeal and dedication in future as well.
