JAMMU, June 25: Surge in COVID cases in Jammu and Kashmir continued with 65 persons reporting positive for the virus today including 46 in Jammu division and 19 in Kashmir.
Among 46 cases in Jammu, 38 were recorded in Jammu district, five in Samba, two in Udhampur and one in Poonch.
Number of active cases in the UT has gone up to 294—188 in Jammu region and 106 in Kashmir.
Jammu district topped with 165 active cases.
Meanwhile, the Union Territory of Ladakh today reported nine COVID positive cases, all in Leh district.
Ladakh now has 41 active positive cases—40 in Leh district and one in Kargil.
