JAMMU, Oct 13: A 65-year-old man drowned in a canal here at Talab Tillo area today, officials said. Body of one Ravinder Khanna son of Arya Bandu Khanna of Reahri was spotted floating in the canal at Rajpura around 2:50 Pm today, they said.
The officials further said that soon after getting information, a team of Police Post Tallab Tillo reached at the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for conducting the post-mortem. Police have launched inquest proceedings to further probe the matter.
