669th Birth Anniversary of Baba Lal Dayal celebrated with religious fervour

JAMMU, Feb 11: The 669th Birth Anniversary of Shree Baba Lal Dayal Ji Maharaj was celebrated today with pomp and show at Lal Dwara Temple, Gali Lal Dwara, Jain Bazar, Jammu.
Thousands of devotees of Baba Lal Dayal Ji from various parts of Jammu reached the Temple and paid obeisance and take blessings of Baba Lal Ji. On the occasion, the Temple was decorated beautifully with buntings, flowers and colourful electric lights by Lal Dwara Mandir Trust, Jain Bazaar, Jammu (organizer of the function).

The function started yesterday at 9 AM with Ramayan Path which was conducted by renowned priests. The holy Ramayan Path concluded today at 11 AM with Bhog. Earlier in the morning, hundreds of devotees participated in Aarti which started at 6.30 AM. This was followed by Satsang in which men and women danced on the Bhajans of Baba Lal Ji.
Speaking on the occasion, the priest of the Temple threw light on the preaching and teaching of Baba Lal Ji. He said that the whole life of Baba Ji served as a great source of teaching and inspiration for the people from all walks of life. He said that the parents of Baba Lal, Lala Bhola Ram and Krishna Devi were also very noble souls and they always encouraged Baba Ji to work for the poor and needy and to mitigate their sufferings.
“The present era is the highest time that we must learn from the lives of these great saints and accordingly mould ourselves so that we can live in a atmosphere of peace and harmony,” the priest said, adding, Baba Lal Dayal Ji started getting attracted towards spiritualism when he was only 8 years old and latter inspired thousands of people to follow his footsteps.
