7-day long art exhibition ‘Kashmir Mayhem’ concludes

JAMMU, Sept 21: The seven -day long art exhibition under the name and title “Eclectic Expression”-Kashmir Mayhem presented by Art wanderers which started in Union Capital on September 15 concluded today.
The Exhibition was held at AIFACS-Gallery B, Rafi Marg, New Delhi.
The paintings of eight artists of repute were exhibited and a large number of art lovers drawn from different parts of the Union Capital witnessed the paintings exhibited there.
The artists who displayed their paintings included Jai Krishan Mirza a winner of various awards, Sweeni Khurana a versatile artist, Chushool Mahaldar a well known artist from Kashmir, Renu Anand of Kanpur, Vinod Kaul from Kashmir, Neeru Monga, Ashutosh Sapru from Kashmir and Bhupendra.
Diverse facets of the social environment were displayed during the exhibition to cater to wide range of audiences. The highlight of their works was presenting Kashmir Mayhem in an entirely different perspective which remains unexplored, hitherto. The will to innovate and being open to the constructive inputs remains their ultimate endeavor.
To express pain and grief in exile, Chushool Mahaldar’s digital art on canvas was a masterpiece work, the artist is doubtful about time heals all wounds. He feels some scars or tissues might hide the wounds temporarily but it is never gone. At the same time the gesture on face shows the struggle and optimism to move ahead in all adverse conditions.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the president of Art Gallery on September 15.
