RAJOURI, June 2: At least seven persons were injured when a Tempo Traveller over turned on the road near village Charhan on Budhal Road today.
The mishap took place when the vehicle No. JK02AE/8271 was on its way to Rajouri from Bakori in Budhal at around 10.30 am. As it reached near Pharwala, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it over turned on the road. 14 passengers were onboard.
The Army jawan from nearby TA Battalion at Palma rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. About seven injured were provided first aid at the nearby Army unit hospital. Four of them were removed to Rajouri Hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
