RAJOURI, Jan 13: Seven persons were injured in a clash between two groups in Darhal area of district Rajouri today.
Police sources said that over an old dispute on 7 kanals of land, members of Ghulam Abbas and Abdul Hamid had bloody clash at village Udhan Margan in Darhal. Both the families were also involved in litigation since long.
During the day today, Ghulam Abbas had some heated exchanges with the members of other family. It was followed by bloody clash. Both sides pelted stone on each other and also used lathis and some lethal weapons. At least seven members including two women were injured during clash.
All the injured were shifted to Darhal hospital and later referred to District Hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
