7 injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, June 29: Seven persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley while as one person who was injured in a road accident succumbed to injuries today.
Police spokesman said that one Abdul Gani Nasir, son of Jamma Nasir resident of Markote-Gurez who was injured in road accident on June 27, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura. The body was handed over to his legal hairs for last rites.
Meanwhile, a Tata Winger bearing registration number JK14B/1312 hit and injured Ghulam Hussan Khan son of Nadir Khan resident of Tailbal-Chaterhama near Gagangeer, Sonamarg. The injured was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Barzulla for treatment.
A Tata Safari bearing registration number UP16AT/3000 collided with a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02N/9562 at Watlar-Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to four persons. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK14A/9161 hit and injured a lady, Rahti aged 65 years wife of Sonaullah Sheikh, resident of New Colony-Hazratbal, Janglat Mandi, near Shivala Mandir Janglat Mandi, Anantnag.
A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK01Q/4500 hit and injured a five years old kid, Muzamil Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Altaf Wani, resident of Beigund-Awantipora. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
