7 injured in bear attacks

SRINAGAR, Sept 20: Police today said seven persons were injured in two separate bear attacks in north Kashmir last evening.
A police spokesman said a bear attacked and injured six persons identified as Anatullah Khan, Faizullah Khan, Mohmad Yaqoob Khan, Ghulam Mohidin Khan, Muzaffar Khan and Hussain Khan Check Matrigam and Dardgund villages in Bandipora district. “All the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment,” the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said, a lady identified as Dilshada Begum was injured after a bear attacked her at Ferozpora area in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district. “The injured woman was shifted to the Sub District Hospital for treatment,” the spokesman added.
