7 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Sept 18: Police today said seven persons were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said that a Hyundai i10 vehicle bearing registration number JK01X-5644 driven by Zahoor Ahmad Shah hit and injure a minor boy namely Mehran Ali Mir at Wullerhama near Grid Station in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district.
In another incident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03D-0411 hit and injure a women namely Rehti at Iqbal Abad Pehru in Mattan area of Anantnag district. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag wherefrom she was referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment,” the police spokesman said.
The spokesman said a tractor bearing registration number JK09-1775 hit a motorcycle at Watapora near Petrol Pump in Bandipora district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist namely Bashir Ahmad Sheikh and his pillion identified as Rameez Ahmed Sheikh. “Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.
The police spokesman said a truck bearing registration number JK22-7022 collided with a 407 vehicle-bearing registration number JK08A-8957 at Yatra Niwas Zig in Qazigund area of Kulgam district, resulting in injuries to Ashiq Hussain Dar, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khan and the truck driver. “All the injured were shifted to Qazigund Hospital for treatment wherefrom the truck driver was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
