JAMMU, June 3: The Government today issued orders of promotions of seven Superintending Engineers (Hyd) and transfer and postings of 10 Chief Engineers in the PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department.
The SEs promoted as Incharge Chief Engineers are- Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani, presently posted as I/C SE Hydraulic Circle Budgam, G M Bhat I/C SE (Hyd Circle) Anantnag, S L Kapoor I/C SE ERA, Susheel Kumar Aima I/C SE (Hyd Circle) Jammu, Mohd Hanief Lone I/C SE JKSPDC, Prem Nath I/C SE UEED and Abdul Wahid I/C SE (Hyd Circle) Kargil.
Consequent upon these placements, the Government transferred/posted 10 Chief Engineers (Hydraulic) in the PHE, I&FC Department.
K K Gupta I/C Chief Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control Jammu has been shifted and posted as I/C Chief Engineer PHE Jammu. He was holding the additional charge as CE, PHE Jammu after the retirement of Ashwani Sharma a few months back.
Varinder Badyal, Chief Engineer RTIC Jammu has been shifted and posted as Chief Engineer, I&FC Jammu while Hem Chander Jeerath I/C Chief Engineer Design, Inspection & Quality Control as I/C CE RTIC Jammu vice Mr Badyal.
Promotee G M Bhat has been placed as I/C Chief Engineer in Chinab Valley Power Project Ltd. Promotees Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani, S L Kapoor, Prem Nath and Abdul Wahid have been placed as I/C Chief Engineers in JKSPDC and their services have been placed at the disposal of Managing Director, JKSPDC.
Shusheel Kumar Aima has been placed as I/C Chief Engineer Design, Inspection & Quality Control vice HC Jeerath while promotee Mohd Hanief Lone has been posted as Incharge Chief Engineer UEED against an available vacancy.
