7 students, 3 teachers injured as school bus turns turtle

SAMBA, Jan 16: Seven students and three teachers sustained minor injuries when a school bus they were travelling in turned turtle near Mansar Morh near here, today.
The bus ferrying students and staff of a Bhagawan School a private school of Nanke Chak in Vijaypur area met with the accident and turned turtle along the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway at Mansar Morh this morning.
The bus bearing Registration Number, JK2B8650 was on way to Bhagwan School from Samba town. The driver of the bus identified as Joginder Singh was arrested by the police.
Locals and police immediately swung into action and shifted the injured to the district hospital, Samba.

Deputy Commissioner, Samba Abhishek Sharma along with SSP Samba, Benam Tosh visited the hospital to enquire about the well being of the injured.
“The students and teachers have suffered minor injuries and all are safe,” said the Deputy Commissioner.
He said the cause of accident is being ascertained for further necessary action will be taken.
All the injured were later discharged from Hospital after first aid. The police is investigating the matter.
